Benefits of the UNIL Masters Scholarship 2025
The University of Lausanne Scholarship provides the following benefits:
- This scholarship provides CHF 1,600 per month from September 15 to July 15 (10 months a year) for the entire master’s program, which can be either one and a half or two years, depending on the course. However, the scholarship is discontinued if a student fails after the first year.
- Candidates should note that the scholarship amount is insufficient to cover living expenses in Switzerland.

- Scholarship recipients will not have to pay the fixed registration fees for courses, except for a CHF 80.00 fee required each semester.
Eligibility Criteria of UNIL Masters Scholarship 2025 Switzerland
To be eligible for the University of Lausanne Scholarship, you must meet all the following criteria:
Languages Required: English or French.
Eligible Countries: All countries.
Academic Excellence: You must have achieved outstanding academic results in your previous studies.
Degree Requirement: You must have earned a foreign university degree that is equivalent to a bachelor’s degree at UNIL before starting the master’s program at UNIL.
No Prior Registration: You should not have been previously registered at UNIL.
Language Proficiency: You must have at least a B2 level in French or English, depending on the language in which your chosen master’s program is taught.
Administration Fee: You need to have paid the CHF 200.00 administration fee.
