The Taiwan ICDF Scholarship Program is for people from developing countries who want to help their nations grow and improve. The International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF) offers 29 programs in this scholarship, covering a wide range of fields such as Agriculture, Business, International Studies, Health, Engineering, Pharmacy, Arts, Education, Tourism, and Urban Governance. Students from different educational backgrounds can apply.

Eligibility Criteria for the Taiwan Scholarship 2025
- Applicants must be from an eligible country and meet any extra rules set by their home country.
- Cannot be a Taiwanese citizen or an overseas Taiwanese student.
- Must meet the admission requirements of the university they are applying to.
- Must qualify for a Resident Visa (FS) and an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) as required by Taiwan’s government. If visa requirements are not met, the scholarship may be canceled.
- Cannot receive another Taiwan government scholarship (like the Taiwan Scholarship) in the same year.
- Cannot apply for this scholarship again if they have already received it before. Past TaiwanICDF, MOFA, or MOE scholarship recipients must have graduated by July 31, 2024, to apply for the 2025 program.
- Must submit their highest-level diploma by July 31, 2025; otherwise, they must wait and apply next year.
- Must not have had a scholarship canceled by Taiwan’s government or been expelled from any Taiwanese university.
