Eligibility Criteria for Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships 2024-25 in Canada
- The fellowship is open to international candidates from any country.
- Applicants must have completed their PhD or a similar health-related degree between September 15, 2021, and September 30, 2025, or before the fellowship starts.
- Non-Canadian citizens or permanent residents can only conduct their fellowship at Canadian institutions.
- Canadian citizens or permanent residents who achieved their PhD from a foreign institution are eligible only if they continue their postdoctoral work in Canada.
- Canadian citizens and permanent residents who completed their PhD in Canada or abroad.
