    Programs that are not eligible for Global Master’s Scholarship

    1. The scholarship is only available for programs commencing in September 2023. If you choose to defer your program start date to September 2024, you will no longer be eligible for the scholarship.
    2. This scholarship does not apply to students seeking to enroll in courses offered exclusively through distance learning.
    3. Candidates applying for programs in the Birmingham Business School are not eligible for this scholarship. However, they may be eligible for other separate MSc and MBA scholarships provided by the Business School.
    4. Undergraduate programs such as MBChB, MEng, MSci and MPharm are not eligible for this scholarship.
    5. Postgraduate programs including MPhil, MRes, MMus, and MLit, as well as PGDip and PGCert programs, are also not eligible for this scholarship.

    The Mexican Government is pleased to announce the opening of the Mexico Government Scholarship 2023, which are fully funded and available through the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation, under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This prestigious Mexico Government Scholarship opportunity welcomes applications from students at the international level, offering support for undergraduate, graduate, Master’s, Doctoral, and Postgraduate Research programs.

    Candidates interested in pursuing their studies in Mexico can apply for this scholarship, which is made possible through bilateral and special agreements, as well as multilateral mechanisms. Successful applicants will receive comprehensive financial coverage to support their educational journey. The scholarship will cover all the expenses to study abroad.

    Benefits of Mexico Government Scholarship

    • Students pursuing a master’s or bachelor’s degree, as well as those engaged in master’s level research, will receive a monthly stipend. The value of this stipend will be equivalent to four times the monthly amount of the Federal Economic Measurement Unit.
    • For Doctoral level students or those involved in research at the Doctoral level, a higher stipend will be provided. The monthly stipend for these students will be five times the value of the Federal Economic Measurement Unit.
    • Comprehensive medical insurance coverage
    • transportation facilities, including air flight transportation, will be offered to facilitate the mobility of students within Mexico at the national level.

    Eligibility Criteria 

    • Students belonging to Full-time undergraduate/ Bachelor’s/ master’s students are eligible for this Scholarship by Mexican Government.
    • Non-Mexican citizens or diplomats or nationals or visa holders are eligible.
    • Students must not enroll already in any Mexican scholarship.
    • Students must have good educational score background.
