What is Global Master’s Scholarship?
This scholarship is worth £2,000 and is open to all international students from specific countries who want to pursue a master’s degree at Birmingham University in the 2023/24 academic year. If you qualify for this scholarship and meet the requirements, you will receive a deduction of £2,000 from your total tuition fees.

Programs that are not eligible for Global Master’s Scholarship
- The scholarship is only available for programs commencing in September 2023. If you choose to defer your program start date to September 2024, you will no longer be eligible for the scholarship.
- This scholarship does not apply to students seeking to enroll in courses offered exclusively through distance learning.
- Candidates applying for programs in the Birmingham Business School are not eligible for this scholarship. However, they may be eligible for other separate MSc and MBA scholarships provided by the Business School.
- Undergraduate programs such as MBChB, MEng, MSci and MPharm are not eligible for this scholarship.
- Postgraduate programs including MPhil, MRes, MMus, and MLit, as well as PGDip and PGCert programs, are also not eligible for this scholarship.
- Students studying at the University of Birmingham Dubai campus are not eligible for this particular scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria for Global Master’s Scholarship
- To qualify for consideration, candidates must satisfy the following criteria:
- You must be a resident of one of the above-mentioned countries in order to be eligible.
- Candidates must have an admission letter from the University of Birmingham for one year (2023-2024) master’s degree.
- Be categorized as an overseas fee payer by the University for tuition fee purposes.
- Enroll in the full-time course offered by the university.
- Commence your studies at the University’s UK campus in September/October 2023
