The Awaji Youth Forum is for young people aged 18 to 35 who have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree. The fellowship covers all expenses for participants. It includes three parts: lectures, challenges, and projects, which work together to support each other.

Eligibility Criteria for Funded Fellowship in Japan by Awaji Youth Federation 2024
- Preferably aged between 24-30 years old
- Must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
- Non-native English speakers should have a TOEIC score of 800 or equivalent, demonstrating fluency in both speaking and writing.
- Proficiency in the Japanese language (JLPT N1-N3) is desirable
- Must be committed to addressing societal issues and contributing to our projects
- Demonstrate core values of hard work, discipline, and empathy
- Must be adaptable, resilient, and demonstrate perseverance
- Ability and motivation to translate ideas into actionable plans
- Preference will be given to applicants who are members of and have a track record of activity in the AYF Global Community
