To qualify for the Deakin University Postgraduate Research Scholarship, you must meet all following requirements given below:
Required Language: English.
Eligible Countries: All world countries.
- You must be a domestic or international student enrolled in a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) course at Deakin University.
- You cannot receive another scholarship from the Commonwealth that covers HDR fees.
- Income from another source that supports living costs cannot be received if it exceeds 75% of the stipend rate. Income unrelated to the course or not for supporting living costs is not counted.
- You must have completed at least four years of tertiary education and achieved a first-class Honours degree or equivalent academic level.
For Doctoral Degree
- Completion of a research project related to your field, including a thesis that is at least 25% of a full year’s study at Level 8 or 9 of the Australian Qualifications Framework, with a grade equivalent to 70% at Deakin.
- Master’s Degree (Research) in a related field.
For a Master’s Degree
- Complete a research project with a thesis that is at least 25% of a full year’s study at Level 8 or 9 of the Australian Qualifications Framework, with a grade equivalent to 65% at Deakin.
