Every year, the Romanian Agency for Investments and Foreign Trade (ARICE) and the Ministry of Education give out 40 scholarships to international students. These scholarships are for the academic year 2024-2025. They allow international students to apply for Bachelor’s Degrees, Master’s Degrees, postgraduate/residency programs, and PhD studies at recognized universities in Romania.
The scholarship is available to all foreign citizens except those from EU and EFTA member countries. However, priority is given to citizens of non-EU and non-EFTA countries without agreements with Romania for cultural and educational cooperation. The language of study will be Romanian to promote the language and culture. Therefore, one year of free Romanian language preparatory classes will be offered. Priority Areas: Selection authorities will prioritize promoting fields such as economics and business administration, agricultural sciences, technical sciences, and oil and gas. However, they will also consider applications from other areas based on available slots.
