Since 2019, King Fahd University has opened its doors to female students. However, only Saudi female residents can apply. Eligibility criteria for King Fahad University
MS Programs in Engineering or Sciences:
- Four-year Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or science required
- Major in the proposed field or evidence of a suitable background
- GPA of 3.00 or better for scholarship applicants and 2.50 or higher for non-scholarship applicants
- TOEFL completion with a minimum score of 520 (PBT), 190 (CBT), or 70 (IBT)
- Alternatively, IELTS is accepted with a minimum score of 6.0
- Two recommendation letters from university-level course instructors
- Fulfill any additional requirements specified by the department or university
MS Programs in Bussiness Administration:
- A recognized four-year Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or science (B.A., B.S., or B.E.) is required.
- Completion of TOEFL with a minimum score of 520 (PBT), 190 (CBT), or 70 (IBT) is required. IELTS is also accepted with a minimum score of 6.0.
- GMAT completion with a minimum score of 450 is required, and scores must be sent directly to the Deanship of Graduate Studies (GMAT code is 0868).
- Two recommendation letters from faculty members who taught the applicant’s undergraduate classes are necessary.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of computers through at least one relevant course (e.g., data processing, programming, information systems).
PhD Programs:
- You need to have an M.S. degree in engineering or science from a university that offers programs similar to (KFUPM) or show that you have the right background for the field you want to study.
- Both your B.S. and M.S. degrees should have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a scale of 4.00 or equivalent. You’ll need to provide official transcripts and degree certificates.
- For MS admission, complete the TOEFL with a minimum score of 550 (PBT), 213 (CBT), or 80 (IBT). Make sure to send your TOEFL score to the Deanship of Graduate Studies using the code 0868. IELTS is also accepted with a minimum score of 6.5.
Mandatory Documents
