Eligibility Criteria for IsDB Scholarships
To be eligible for the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Scholarship, you need to meet all of these conditions:

For Undergraduate Program:
- Candidates must have completed high school or equivalent education with good grades in key subjects.
- Not receiving any other scholarships.
- Must be in good health and willing to undergo medical tests if selected
For Master Program:
- Maintain at least a “Very Good” academic record.
- Preferably, have practical work or research background.
- Present a research plan in a program-related field, highlighting its importance for both science and community development.

For PhD Study:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- An excellent academic record.
- Preferably, work and research experience.
- Present a research plan in a program-related field,
- Be in good health and prepared for medical assessments after selection.
For Post-doctoral Research:
- A Ph.D. degree in an approved program field.
- A “Very Good” academic record.
- Possess a minimum of two (2) years of research experience.
- Show a track record of research in the same area.
- Present a research plan in a program-related field, highlighting its scientific and developmental importance for the community/country.
- Be in good health and ready for medical assessments post-selection.
For Vocational Education Training (VET):
- Residents of any of the 21 IsDB LDMC countries.
- Finished high school with satisfactory grades in important subjects;
- Not currently receiving any other scholarship, and
- In good health and willing to take medical tests if selected.
Obligations:
- Be healthy and ready for medical checks if needed later.
- Agree to the IsDB Scholarship terms, and help their communities and countries after finishing school.
- Study full-time and give updates on how they’re doing regularly.
- Not take other scholarships or jobs during their studies.
- Follow the laws of the country
- Join the IsDB Alumni after finishing school
